I am a US Citizen born to US Citizen parents with 3 US Citizen grandparents. 

I have a US Passport and MN State ID that both match my birth certificate and original birth certificate, Susan Dorsher, female. They also match my Social Security Card. I vote, use health insurance and financial transactions, and pay taxes based on those IDs. 

My American Physics Society membership is in my preferred name Steven Dorsher, he/him. I have publications under both names because I have not erased or changed history, and some academic credentials under both names.

Unsurprisingly my appearance on my ID matches my actual appearance, which is exactly as pictured on this website.
